Below are the best photos and edits that I think I made from Draft 1-4. I ended up making many pieces, however, these pieces stand out from the rest. The reason I chose these pieces compared to others, is due to the fact that I see them as close to Andy Warhols pieces and styles that I could make them. For example, the second photo down, you can see a photo of a car duplicated and out behind a dark green filter. This photo reminds me of Andy Warhols Car Accidents, it is very similar in color and shading as well as the angle being somewhat similar. Some of the photos that you will see below are my spin on Andy Warhols style. If you look at the second to last and fourth to last photos, you may notice that they do not look like anything Andy Warhol had produced. I wanted to use some of the photos that I took without trying to have the eye of Andy Warhol. I think it turned out well and are very strong pieces. Many other photos in this collection highly represent Andy Warhol through the colors present in the pieces, for example, the three portraits are very similar to the colorways that Andy Warhol would use. These pieces are strong for many other reasons such as the variety of colors and the sharp shadows. These techniques all contribute to the outcome of each piece. I think this collection captures the best colors and shadows that represent Andy Warhol far more than any other of my photos. I very much enjoyed this project and with all of these pieces in a collection, I am able to see the progress I have made from the first piece I made, to some of my finals.
